Sir John the pirate was a man of many trades. He would take what he wanted and do as he pleased, but most importantly, be honest about it all. This led to him being caught by the king's guard one time too many. The day they came for him Sir John had been drinking from his favorite barrel of rum before bedtime when he heard them coming down the road with their horses' hooves pounding against the ground below his window. They were galloping in full force towards his house and Sir John knew that this time there would be no escape for him so he grabbed his gun and took aim at them first, shooting out their leader's horse before another could even get close enough to attack him.
